I gave this only 4 stars because this is the 3rd Intex twin air mattress I have had since January of 2009. The first one had to be sent back to Amazon (no problem there) for an exchange due to it not holding air at all. The 2nd one held up just fine for about 4 1/2 months. A baffle or something popped inside the mattress and it became unusable. Those two were one step down from this one. I have been using my 3rd Intex twin for about a month now and it is very comfortable and holding up well. I use it as a regular bed for me, so I do not inflate/deflate every night. One thing I DON'T like about this mattress IS the "pillow rest". I have arthritis in my neck and shoulders and I need a flat surface to sleep on. I just use several blankets to "fill in" the middle area and put my head where my feet should be and it's fine. It was difficult to find exactly what I was looking for. I HAD to have a twin size as a queen size would be too large for the room. Also, I had to have the extra height to make it easier to get off and out of bed. I have trouble sleeping due to Fibromyalgia and I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but I do get some decent sleep on it. I add air in it about once a week and I LOVE that the pump is built-in and easy to use.
I would purchase an Intex again, but I DO wish they made a twin without the pillow.
